I "hope" the following comes out in CS5:

Use of Mac OS X GCD to optimize multiple core use. With the i7 (4 cores) and i9 (6 cores) I can see a Mac pro with two i9 processors (12 cores) for a parallel load of 24 threads. If Adobe use GCD (which manages core/thread allocation) then the performance of CS5 should increase on those massive files I work on (77 Mpix scans). The availability of much faster memory would help as well.

And in order to leverage the above, I would also hope that CS5 hands off more processing to the graphics card where OpenCL cards are in the system. This too is directly supported by Mac OS X (10.6).

And of course, at least for the Mac v., the 64 bit implementation will be welcome.
