I need to clip out a circular part of a photograph and then place that image
on a printed page with text wrapping around the circular photograph. I'm
using Photoshop Elements 7 and Publisher 2007, both running under Windows
Vista. I know how to wrap text around a circle in Publisher.
Should I use PE to create the photograph in a circle? If so, how?

Hi Gordon,
I'm not sure about PE but in Photoshop I would use the eliptical marquee
tool. Holding down shift while you drag across the image will create a
perfect a circle. Ctrl J will copy it to its own layer. Double click the
background layer and then delete it. Save the resulting image as a PNG
file.
In MS Word (I assume Publisher is similar) I would then insert the image
into the text and select "Text Wrapping / Through". That should wrap your
text around the image.
Thanks for the suggestions, Alan. I'll try out what you suggest.
Gordon
