I used to use DotColor and it worked fine (WinXP). Now I have Vista and it doesn’t work OK. So I’m looking for another app that will give me RGB values for any color on my screen (when I put an ‘eyedopper’ over that spot on the screen). Any suggestions?

why do you need a program for that?
In Photoshop CS3
under eyedropper (flyout) is another eyedropper called color sampler hover over a color and open info palette and it shows the values

PS CS3 is a program, and a very expensive one for that purpose.

Thank you. I installed ColorPic and love the app – just what I needed (I don’t have Photoshop – waiting for the next version).

I ‘used’ to have Photoshop but have been ill for a few years and out of commision. I’m a littler better now and am planning to get back into ‘it’.
