I am very new to Photoshop and was wondering if anyone could clue me in to what may be really simple. I have two images – one is a color sunset and the other is a simple posterized silhouette of some tree branches (posterized to simply two colors – black solid and white solid). What I want to do is to place the silhuoette "on top" of the sunset and create one image. Any clues?
Thanks!!
Dave

Yes, there are tons of clues but it will require some basic knowledge of Photoshop to do it.

I won’t say you have to copy the exact technique, but to get the general information how to do it then use your very own skill to create your very own technique. This is what you may need to do..

Point your browser to www.google.com or better yet www.youtube.com then find the technique how to remove, replace the background then you may see something like "Masking" or similar. And I don’t think you read text message often, so I gonna say it again.

– Most video tutorials are either for displaying or showing off, so it’s only useful if you learn the idea for your real project *not* the showing off to impress other.
