Just watching a Moose Peterson video where he’s editing a photo in Photoshop. He brings up the curves dialogue box and after doing his correction he clicks on the "ok" box, except it doesn’t say "ok", it says "okey dokey"…can these texts be changed?

In the early days it was easy through a program called ResEdit, but today you need to use a Hex Editor to replace the dialog string with whatever you wish. Care must be taken to be sure that the string you use to replace the original is the same length, or change the length value – unless the Hex editor is smart enough to do that for you.

IOW – It’s a pain in the butt.

Hex Friend.app is one for the Mac. I don’t do enough of the same in WindoZe to recommend an editor for that.

(If you use a Mac, you can control-click on the Photoshop application and take the submenu item "Show Package Contents" to see what’s really there. The Mac application icons are really folders of files. You want the sub-folder Resources/MacOS/ shows the actual executable as a Unix Executable file.)

More than you wish to know, eh?
