What Hardware needed to support Photoshop

I’m going to build a desktop and would like some suggestions on what hardware is needed and what capacities. I’m not a game player. Specific recommendations for hardware are welcome.

Im not an expert but RAM is very important, at least 4 GB of RAM because Photoshop van become very heavy when working big (2000> px) A decent videocard is also important (50 – 100$)

of course you have to be careful with ram as 32bit os won’t use all the 4gb and certainly not above it, so you will have to choose a 64bit os
