May I know how can I divide a piece of picture into many smaller squares?

Use Slices in ImageReady to create the portions of the picture. Using your web design software of choice, place each segment into a table cell, specifying cell borders, to get the white line effect.

That will replicate the way that particular link works.

If you just want to display the white line grid over the picture, there are a number of methods to create a grid.
