Recording Actions with difference

I’d like to record actions that end with an iput box open. For instance, "Save for the Web" that ends with the Save box open so that I can decide at that time where to put the image. Trouble is that when the Save box has the focus it is not possible to stop the recording until after saving the file.

One other thing… Is there any way of including a double click on the Hand tool in an action? Although I include it in the recording it doesn’t seem to work on play back.

You can achieve both by not using the recording function, but use "Insert Menu Item" from the popup menu in the Actions palette.

The way I do that is with a keyboard macro programed into my WACOM. You just put in the keyboard strokes needed to save-for-web and then an enter to select the default. You are then ready to select file name or folder and file name.
