Hello

I am running PhotoShop 7 on a win XP system. All of a sudden the clone tool has stopped working as have the brush and eraser tools and the dodge and burn etc. Curves and levels are OK.

If I go to Image ready, the brush tool etc works.

Any idea what has happened?

Look in the Options bar; are you sure the tools have not been set to a different mode, or to a low opacity?

Hello

Problem solved. As well as my normal mouse, I have a Wacom tablet and the Wacom mouse had been placed on the tablet. As soon as I removed it everything was OK.

Just use it as a paperweight, it’s the most sensible use for a Wacom mouse 🙂
