Well, I’ve had a lot of demand for a Photoshop CS Keyboard Shortcuts Cheatsheet, so here it is:

Photoshop CS Keyboard Shortcuts Cheatsheet

Note that there are a few new keyboard shortcuts in PSCS, so this table is even more cramped than it was before. It is best suited for printing on a double-sided 11×17 and then laminating it. Makes a great reference.

Note that the keys in bold are custom assignments that I’ve created via the new Keyboard Shortcuts editor: however, all other keys are defaults. That is, all of the keys on this chart are compatible with the default install, but you simply will not have the ones denoted in bold. If desired, I can also post my Keyboard Shortcuts preferences. Please review the custom assignments and let me know if you think there might be a better way to map these – as there are not very many vacant keys left in PSCS.

Please let me know if you spot any typos, incorrect key assignments, or shortcuts that I have missed. Once I am convinced the chart has been sufficiently ‘beta tested’, I will make it and my preferences available via my Web site ( http://user.fundy.net/morris/ ). I will also be releasing an update to my Extended Keyboard Shortcuts Action Set (
http://user.fundy.net/morris/redirect.html?photoshop2.shtml ), as there are many of these that are not possible to assign via a simple keyboard shortcut (e.g., Close without saving, Contract selections that touch canvas boundaries, Show / Hide Layer, etc.) – although I should investigate the possibility of scripting these…

Cheers,
