Simple Q: Files opening in magenta

I have a problem where I must have changed something by accident. All images I open in PS are in magenta. The color palette also only has magenta and black. I know it is not a memory or computer problem; PS Elements and Image ready are not having this problem. Maybe it’s even a view problem. I don’t know. thanks, Jonathan

Jonathan, try making a new monitor profile with Adobe Gamma.

yes, the monitor calibration worked. I had a new monitor and just had to do that. Thank you anyway.
