Hello,
Any recommendations for image editing software that applies artificial-
intelligence for automatically eliminating scratches in images?
Buy one of those Japanese robot toys and see if you can train it.
Hire a teenage ‘artist’, their ‘intelligence’ is as artifical as any … <G>!
Very funny! Please reconsider inquiry in original post.
The point being that some ‘user’ intelligence is required, nothing will replace the photographer making an effort!
If you’d looked through a search engine, perhaps you’s have found: <

As with all ‘automated helpers’, a dust and scratch filter can certainly save a lot of labor, however, there is one caveat to be aware of – the filter can only do so much. The worst offending scratches and damage will not be eliminated, only blurred. The filter works best on small dust and minute scratches where conservative settings can be used so as not to create excessive blurring.
Oh, the links for this are usually dead and you’d have to hunt a bit, but to save you all the ‘heavy lifting’ and ‘effort’, here’s a currently working link – for now.

"On the surface, Filter Forge is just a Photoshop plugin, a pack of filters that generate textures, create visual effects, enhance photos, process images. However, there are a couple things that make Filter Forge unique:
1. You can create your own filters."
Sorry, but we aren’t yet at the fully push button stage of NCIS, CSA or Bones!
