I could probably figure this out on my own, but someone might know of a simpler way than I could come up with. I have far too many Actions as a result of downloading through the years. Some looked good, but really aren’t that useful.

Can I set up an Action folder for new downloads, try them, and then delete the folder and start a new one? Deleting separate Actions is time consuming.

Yes.

In your actions tab click on "create new set" you will have a dialog window open for you to label the set. If you use the buttons on the bottom, it is the one that looks like a folder, if you use the drop down menu on the right of the Actions tab it is is "New Set".

The suggestion will probably be "Set 1" change it to whatever you want. "Test Set 1" etc.
If you want to trash it just select the set ant hit the "trash can" button or "Delete" from the menu.

Ta, Duck. That should do it.

I download Actions, try them, find they aren’t something I’d ever use, but never get around to deleting them.

You could just select the unwanted action and delete it.

You can also isolate actions by dragging them from one set folder to another, or just create a custom set for those which will be keepers.

So you could end up with three Tony Cooper Sets. "Test Set", "Potential Dump Set", & "Cooper Work Set". Just drag those you are not completely happy with from the "Test Set" to the "Potential Dump Set", and those which will become regulars to the "Cooper Work Set". That way things are kept tidy and you can delete individual actions whenever.

They just build up on me. I download one, try it, find it lacking, but leave it there to try on some future image. Now, I have so many that I don’t want to bother testing each. I’d rather start over.
