After installing CS (I still have Vrs. 7 installed) the shortcut keys don’t work. Not even Ctl+Z. I tried editing them an it still doesn’t work. The file is 3 K. If someone has a functioning file, maybe they could attach it where I can get it. I’m using a Logitech Elite cordless keyboard and mouse and downloaded the latest drivers – still no go. When I use a simple rectangular selection, I cant undo with Ctl+D, when I hold down Ctl the pointer changes to the move tool pointer. It’s driving me nuts. When I use PS7 the shortcut keys in PS7 are fine. Just CS is the problem. I don’t know if the file is corrupt ?? any suggestions would be most appreciated. Got to have shortcut keys.

Cheers

Since you wrote that you updated your keyboard drivers, I am pretty sure that you have an illigal copy of Photoshop CS (cracked by Paradox?). Google is your friend.

Usually means you have a poorly cracked pirated version.

There are only two reasons for the shortcut keys not working:

1. You don’t have the latest Logitech drivers and,
2. You’re a thief.

Thank you for carefully explaining that 2 applies.

Be it an illegal version or otherwise, would keeping ctrl-alt-shift depressed while starting photoshop fix that ? Or does that only change the other preferences back to default ?

Pjotr.

PS. And yes I think if there is ONE package in the world that is well worth it’s retail price it is the Adobe CS suite, and especially Photoshop CS. Not cheap, but it rocks. Period.
