Can photoshop be used to make measured sketches of a floor plan, maybe to see if certain sized furniture will fit. If it can’t what could.

Thanks,
Gus

It could, but it would be a lot of effort.

You’d do better with Illustrator.

You’d probably be even better off with a program that is designed to do what you want to do.

There are cheap software packages that do exactly what you’re after. I’ve never used one but I believe that they even have preset objects (furniture) that you can select/drag into position.

Try Serif Draw, I use it because its easy to use, and indeed contains various libraries including – furniture (office – house – garden) Harry

At scale? There is better stuff out there to use. But maybe you could just set 2 pixels equals an inch or something in ps?

One program you might give a try is Turbocad – you can usually pick up a decentversion for free. Its a cad program obviously so it might be a bit tricky to get the hang of but it will give you what you need.
