Im working on a small animated GIF, only 60×60. I have a LOT of layers that i need for creating a smooth animation.
When I copied and pasted my last set of frames, i was unable to make a layer (un)visible. Is there a way to fix this? The program simply does not respond when i click the Eye icon. I cán select a layer by clicking its name.

So, i saved the file (doh) and am now stuck with this situation (DOH). Well I can try to delete layers but that will take me ages. Aint there a way to select multiple layers ? That would make the deleting process a lot easier…

Thanks in advance 🙂

Rhett,

You can link layers and create layer sets based on the links. I am not sure that would help you solve your problem though.

I have to question the need for so many layers though. What kind of animation are you making? How many layers are there? How fast is your computer?

I have imported 900 frame avi’s to work on with no problem. I can’t imagine how many frames it would take to slow a computer down that much.

Can you put the file you are working on up on a web site? I could try to open it here to see if I have the same problem. It is possible the file is corrupt.
