New computer, reinstalled Irfanview but now when using the mouse wheel I can go foward but if I go backwards I can no longer see the pics I just viewed, how can I change this? Thanks

I would have thought such controls were in your mouse software. I don’t believe that there are any facilities for setting up your mouse in Irfanview.

Does the same thing happen if you use the arrow icons at the top of the Irfanview screen to move backwards

I find the easiest way to view a folder of pics is to use the "space bar" to go forward and the "back space" to go backward. To me using the mouse wheel is not the best way.
