ps7.01. I have a lower layer on which I draw, with custom tool, 2 heart shapes. I fill them with foregrd color. Then I add two layers, each with a picture. I create clipping group or layer. I then am able to place pictures in heart shaped form. this all works fine for me. Here is my problem: After completing above, I decide I want to move one of the heart shapes, with included picture. I can’t figure out how. Of course, I can redue from start, but is there another way to move what I have already created? No biggy, I just use this for fun, but… any suggestions welcome. I will check back later, so thanks in advance for any help. This forum is absolutely GREAT!!

Flatten the image, save as a different name so you don’t destroy your original working file, select the area you want to move and drag it to the new position.

Thanks for your responce. I was hoping there was a way to accomplish without flattening, but probably better than nothing. Thanks for your insight.

Just merge down the two layers into one

Brian –

Link the layers to the base image of your clipping group. With the base layer active, click on the box next to the visibility eyeball in each layer you wish to link. You should see a small chain icon appear.

Now when you move the base layer, the linked layers will move as well.
