How do I get gifs nice and crisp?

In case you havnt heard, the pixel-fonts are upon us. www.pixelfonts.com This site claims that pixel fonts will only look good when used in flash. But this guy <http://www.wpdfd.com/pixelfonts.htm> has some examples of his fonts displayed with transparent gifs. I have some pixel fonts but I can seem to create a .gif as clean as his. You can zoom all the way up on his (once drug into photoshop) and the edges stay clean. What are the right output settings for making .gifs like his?

Did you read Joe Gillespie’s advice at the site you referenced? He explains it very well:

In short: change your measurement settings to pixels, if necessary. Your pixel font was designed to be used at a specific size (e.g. 8px or 10px), set your type to that size. Turn anti-aliasing to "none". Don’t apply tracking or kerning.

If the pixel font is used on a solid background, when you Save for Web you can set "colors" to two with no dither. Or index the image before you SfW and set the palette to exact colors.

When you view it, your zoom settings should be even multiples of 100%.
