I recently purchased adobe elements for one purpose, to remove the background from images I am posting on my website.
I am using the magic eraser and no matter what I do the edges come out sawtooth. I have tried changing the tolerance to different levels. Around 20 gives me the best look but still some degree of sawtooth.

The objects I photograph are mostly very dark blue or black. The photos come out great with the exception of the background color not being pure white. Good contrast in the image.

If anyone has any suggestions please post and email me as well. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Bill,

You’re probably better off posting this in the Adobe Elements forum…

stark sawtooth means that you do not have anti-aliasing turned on – in Photoshop anyway.
