Save As… (to ZIP disk) = Directory of Disk B is full?

This may be the fault of Windows or Iomega. But I want to ask the question here because Photoshop is the only program I have which exhibits this behavior.

If I try to "Save As…" to the hard drive (C), no trouble. However, if I try to save to the ZIP 750 USB drive, the computer hangs for a while, and then I get the message that the directory of disk B is full and to choose another destination.

The ZIP drive is actually drive G, there is no disk B. This is Photoshop version 6 (with update) running in Windows XP Pro. I know there were problems with ATAPI ZIP drives being assigned drive letter B in earlier versions fo Windows. But this USB drive on this machine seems to have no trouble being drive G, and the Save As dialog in Photoshop shows drive G, not drive B. Yet attempts to save to drine G results in the message about drive B being full.

Anyone have any ideas? Could this be a version problem with Photoshop 6 running on XP? (The KB says they are compatible.)

Thanks for any suggestions!

Never save to removable media from Photoshop. Always save to your harddrive and then copy the file to the removable media.
