I recently installed Illustrator. I then tried to open Photoshop (both 6 and 7 are affected), and it says that ICC profile was changed and I am missing a dll file. I also used the autoupdate for the Acrobat Reader and it is indicated that yet another *.dll file is missing after that. What is strange is that I can click through and Photoshop seems to function normally. Anyone have any ideas? Reinstalling didn’t make any difference at all.

what specific dll’s are missing/changed. are you sure they’re photoshop dlls and not 3rd party or device driver dlls? list them and well help you determine that…
