Greetings. I use PS 7 mostly for color and tonal adjustments. I usually do this by loading about 30 image at a time. But going thru Image/Adjustments to get the each adjustment screen up for level, curves, color balance, etc,etc is driving me crazy. Is there a way I can put these screens up in the work area or replace those color/swatch/styles/history/etc windows(on the right side) with color and tonal adjustment screens?

TIA

I don’t think the adjustments can be made into pallettes. But if you use the key board shortcuts it makes life ALOT simpler. Also if you are using the "auto" adjustment options you can try to record you actions an then apply batch processing. This will run the recorded actions (i.e. auto levels>auto curves>resize) for the whole batch of images automatically. (Plus it’s cool to watch)

Three potential shortcuts.
1. Just add adjustment layers using the black/white ball at the bottom of the layers palette

2. Create a new file – Name = YouNameIt
Add the adjustment layers that you usually use
Save file and keep it open
Open image file
With the two files side by side….
Drag and drop appropriate layers from the YouNameIt layers palette to the image
Double click on the adjustment layer thumbnail to open dialog box to make adjustments.

3. Create an Action that adds the adjustment layers then double click the layer thumbnail to adjust.
