if you have a image that is at an angle, and you want to straighten it out, what is the best way to do this?

is there a tutorial on the web?

thanks

you can also use the Crop tool.
press C, press Crtl+- to zoom out a bit, and use the corners and sides of the bounding box to rotate and line up your image(hopefully there’s a straight edge in your image).
you can do this easily without actually cropping off too much of your image. this is just another way of doing the same thing as above.

hope this helps.

I use the following technique quite a lot to straighten up scanned photos imported into Photoshop. They are almost always slightly askew, and this works fine and quickly.
First select the Crop Tool, then drag out a rectangle across your image ROUGHLY lined up with the four corners of your image (not the canvas). Then, drag each corner of this same crop bounding box to line up with each of the corners of your photo/image (again, not the canvas). Then click the ‘Tick’ or press enter to complete the process and hey presto! Image straightens up exactly to fill entire canvas.

Kind regards
