Action step won’t record

In PS 7, I’m recording an action that includes the following steps. First I do a Gaussian blur on an image, then take a snapshot, and then undo the Gaussian blur.

The blur records, the snapshot records, but the undo won’t record.

Can this be entered into the steps manually? Is this something that won’t record? It seems like it should record.

Usually, it does record as ‘select previous history state’.

Try clicking backwards in the history palette instead of the undo shortcut?

Ron,

Another way is to snapshot BEFORE the blur, then go to the snapshot instead of Undo.

That worked fine – I’m surprised that the command I tried to record wouldn’t register.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand. I want the snapshot to be blurred, for use with the History brush.
