Tried to open the photoshop help file PS7 and it opened my Dreamweaver program. Went to folder options and fiel types to make sure HTMl and htm files were to be opened it IE. Now when I open Photoshop help I get a browser but the ddress bar reads

<http://%1%20>" file:/C:/Program%20Files/Adobe/Photoshop%207.0/Help/Help.htm l "

obvious a lot of syntax problems…Any help to get this back to normal would be great. I uninstalled and reinstalled PS to no avail…I am thinkingit shuld be something in the folder otpions but other programs with HTMl help, Premiere, Macromedia and such work fine. At a loss…thanks again.

Ever since Adobe went to HTML help files, it’s been, uh, strange. So I just put a shortcut in my favorites for IE and always have IE open when Photoshop is open. It’s quicker that way anyway.

I know it doesn’t work the way you would LIKE it to, but it DOES work.

You have .HTM files associated with DW. Re-associate them with your browser
