is there a good way to remove light reflections from eyeglasses on a portrait in photosop? TIA

If there is still detail behind the reflection, use a layer mask combined with curves to darken the reflections. You may get a more natural look by not darkening the reflections completely, or by darkening the entire area inside the lens frame, in addition to the reflection.

If only one eye is obscured, you may be able to get away with copying and horizontally flipping the other eye. This is easier to get away with in a group picture than a portrait, because of lighting clues will make the result look just a little funny. As before if you leave some of the original reflection it will look more natural.

Just to add one small detail, if you flip the eye the highlight might be off, so consider selecting the iris and rotating it back 180 degrees.
