Guides dont line up

I use guides to cut up images in Photoshop CSm the problem is the marquee tool does not line up with the guides which makes the guides usless. Arghhh.

WHat gives? How do I fix it?

did u toggle snap to grid, snap to guides?

The marquee tool has to conform to pixel dimensions. Guides can be anywhere, even at fractions of a pixel. You must have your guides set at real, whole pixel increments not percents or other units.

Also, make sure there’s no feather on the marque.
