I’ve been previously running PS 7.01 on my old computer running Win2000. I purchased a new computer running WinXP Pro, loaded PS 7 (which loaded just fine after having it validate my PS 5.0 CD). But when running the 7.01 Update I get error messages at the end of the install, saying that a fatal unrecoverable error has occurred. Then PS 7 won’t run either. I’ve tried doing this three times, all with the same result.
The updated installed just fine on my old computer.
I don’t get the error message saying that 7.01 can’t find PS 7 — it’s a different error message.
Any suggestions?
