Help – I have a brochure that I’ve done and am now trying to print it. When I print it, the transparent background is printing grey. I created it in PhotoShop 6 on windows I’m trying to print it at a local office supply place that has a big fancy Canon printer (not sure what the model is) attached to a MAC running PhotoShop 7. I’ve looked at the gamut warning under preferences and changed it from grey to white. Not sure what else it could be?

I assume your color mode is set to CMYK?

Try a TIFF maybe?

I can understand why you are stumped. This sounds pretty strange.

Mel

I own a print shot that prints color to a canon clc 1140 through an edox rip. We have had, on occasion, this problem and if we shut off color management at the printer level the problem goes away. This works fine if you aren’t printing in color.
