Hi,

I’m trying to create a series of screen captures of me working in Photoshop and have noticed that when I take a screen print and paste into a new window, everything is there except the cursor and it’s kind of vital to show where it is. Any ideas? I’m in PS8 and using XP Pro

Many thanks

Andy

WHat are you using to do the screen print?

I use Corel Capture and it always leaves the cursor in the image if I want it there.

Are you using Ctrl+Shift+Print Screen ?
I think that it’s designed to ignore the cursor.

If you’re only doing a few shots why not make your own little cursor and add it to the screenshot afterwards. If you’re doing a lot get a capture prog. —

Probably hitting the "Print Screen" button and pasting into a PS document.

The built-in capture doesn’t record the cursor.

Yep – just done a quick experiment. Tried pasting a screenshot into MS Paint – again no cursor. So it’s not a prob with PS

Yep, I think I’ll draw myself a wee cursor seeing as this is only a one-off. Many thanks to you all for your help, it’s appreciated
