I have been working in Photoshop all day, everything was working perfectly. I closed out and now when I try to open the program I get this error message; "Could not initilize Photoshop because there is not enough memory (ram)." I have 384 megs or ram, and I have not had any problems all day. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
-rex

First try deleting your prefs file – details in the FAQ

If that doesn’t help, check for ~ps*.tmp files and delete.

Lastly check you have at least 200 megs free on your C:/ drive

Thanks Len. I deleted the prefs and it finally started. Strange quirks sometimes.

Take Care,
