I have several actions I want to load. Do I have to load each one one by one or is there a way to load several at once. I’m using PS 7.01 (soon to be PS CS:)on a pc.

Have both, photoshop and explorer open. Click on the actions you wish to load. Drag-n-drop them onto the actions pallet.

YrbkMgr, I just did that and opened PS but they do not show. They are in the programfiles/adobe/presets/photoshop actions folder. Is there another place whare they are stored?

Thanks in advance, Marion

Where they’re stored on disk doesn’t matter.

Just load them from the actions palette, drag and drop onto Photoshop, or double click them (if that doesn’t work, you may need to fix the registry as explained in several other topics here).

Thanks Chris for the reply, I can load them from the actions pallet one at a time. I wanted to drag and drop several of them in the folder at once but I’m not sure where that folder is to drop to. My above folder doesn’t seem to be where they are stored.

Again, you don’t drag and drop to a folder — you drag and drop to the application.

Where they are on disk (in any particular folder) doesn’t matter!

While I realize that no one reads post #1, the answer is there.

YrbkMgr,

Boy do I feel like a dunce. I did what you said in the first post and moved them. I kept trying to do that in explorer. Sometimes it just takes me a bit to catch on.

Thanks a bunch, Marion

<laugh> Well 10 "cool points" for you for admitting a mistake (that I’ve made many times myself – reading too fast).

Peace,
Tony
