Don’t know if PS 7 can handle this or not. But I have been scanning all my negatives with a Minolta Scan Dual III and it makes a white border around each and every pic/scan. I want to remove this. This will have to occur on about 3000 images but can probably set it to do just 100 at a time. So can some folks tell me if PS 7 can open the file, remove that white border, then save it again as the high quality .tif file that it is? If PS can not do it completely, is there a program that will assist PS 7 in doing this? Thanks.

If you just want to remove the border, create an action to crop the image, and save the file, then run the action on the whole folder using the File|Automate|Batch command.

So then can you batch any process in PS 7? For instance, if I wanted to apply a certain filter to a folder with 1000 photos in it, all I would have to do is create an action out of this and then batch it? Thanks. wrote in message

cadman_meg,

Anything that you can record to an action. 1000 Images shouldn’t be a problem.
