Can you take screenshots with photoshop7? If so, how? I’ve been using Paint Shop Pro for years, have a job interview and need to make a web page quick using photoshop7 for the graphics. Thanks a lot.

I did that to sample some colors. I thought there might another way to do it and not get the whole screen. This will do, though. Thanks.

Google for WinGrab. It can crop and it has a few other nice features, including being free.

Hit "C" for crop tool.

I’ve never seen what anyone likes about selective screen grabbers. They are no better than the functionality you already have.

You can always use the Print Screen key, then paste into Photoshop.

I often do that for single shots, but if I want to grab a series of shots I’ll use IrfanView.

But I’ve just downloaded 3 free screenshot programs…

ScreenHunter http://www.wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm WinGrab http://home.no.net/wingrab
Bulent’s Screen Recorder http://www.tucows.com/preview/195050.html

I haven’t tested them thoroughly yet, but if you’re in a hurry maybe ScreenHunter would be the easiest to set up and use.

WinGrab and BSR look like they can do some fancy tricks, but they’ll have to be pretty good to make me give up ol’ Irfanview (also free)… 😎
