I need to transfer photos to DVD for viewing on a normal TV screen (CRT). Does anyone have an ASV, ALV, or AHU file to calibrate the colors and contrast for PAL and NTSC TV screens? I’m not looking for perfection just somewhere roughly in the area or normality.

What is the best way to deal with the unsquare pixels on PAL and NTSC screens when rescaling for TV?

What is the pixel screen size on PAL and NTSC screens? (I mean like 800×600 or 1024×768…)

When the phot is turned into DVD video. MPEG-2. It’s colours will be changes as MPEG compression is lossy like JPEG. Thus any optimisation lost, althought optimistion is a good thing anyway. BUT, the DVD software would do that for you anyway ? (I hope!) as the PAL and NTSC colour gamut is diffrent.

Find the aspect ratio for PAL or NTSC and resize your photos accordingly (so they will look distorred on a PC monitor)

If you choose a NEW canvas in Photoshop ,and then when you select the PRESET canvas/document dimentions, it will show sizes for PAL/NTSC.
