I switch on quickmask and then select it in the channels tab. I then select threshold and adjust the slider to clean up stray pixels before returning to the selection.
When I do this to a 16 bit image the preview shows the desired modifications of the mask, but when I close the threshold dialog the changes don’t "stick". The history shows that Photoshop CS thinks it applied the threshold. Other functions like curves seem to work fine.
Could someone else try this and see if they have the same behavior?
