I bought photoshop album v2 last week and simply can’t understand why there is no manual zoom for viewing pictures. Shouldn’t this be feature no.1 in any imaging product? After I download pictures from my digicam, I always go through a process of inspecting and comparing every photograph and seperating the best from the rest. And I need to zoom in at 100%. I can’t do this with album v2 so I have to go back to using the "My Pictures" folder to do very basic image organization.

How can this product get the thumbs up in reviews? I just don’t get it and I’m really disappointed with this software. I’ll tell you right now, I won’t be running out to get version 3 just to see if they added this feature…

Well, if you’d been reading here you would have seen it didn’t get the thumbs up. I’ve seen several different complaints about the software since v.1 and always advise people to buy something else until such time as Adobe have a mature product.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about it (v1) being buggy, nothing about the lack of a zoom feature. I have no doubt someone did say something about this but I have not seen it. And I didn’t think that it would be an issue either. Who would of thunk it?

Well not Adobe, it would seem.
You might want to check out Jasc’s Paint Shop Album. Similar program, similar price.
I don’t personally use either (at the moment) but its something to consider as an alternative.
