Hello All,
To get you started:
1) you probably are scanning the image at at resolution which is too large for your computer – try a lower resolution – large resolution can mean huge file sizes in MB’s.
2) you need more memory to scan a larger image – if your using an older computer (hardware wise – with not much RAM) and Windows 9x you will encounter a similiar problem.
Basically your image size when being scanned is too large for your computer hardware to handle – increasing RAM may help – if you are using windows 9x – you cannot use more then 512MB of RAM (windows will not boot – says not enough memory).
Windows 9x does not effectively use RAM greater then 256MB – even though it recognizes it.
