I am using Photoshop CS and I would like to find out how to resolve these issues:

1)How to print several different images on one sheet of paper? (not the picture package mode, different images)

2)Is there a way to changes the default on the automated picture package mode from 8.0×10 to 8.5×11?

3a) Do you know of a site that would have actions that would simulate other photo filters?

3b) How do you install actions after you locate them?

One way is to create a 320 ppi (approx.) blank image whose size matches the printable area of your image, then copy, paste and Free Transform the other images onto that image. Use guides to make the edges line up if that matters to you.

2)Is there a way to changes the default on the automated picture package mode from 8.0×10 to 8.5×11?

Someone else will have to field that one. My guess is you may control this via the current selected paper size in Printer Setup.

There are plenty of Photoshop action sites – do a google.com search for them. As for replacing specific filters, in general the answer will be no, but actions, and scripts for that matter, can do a lot. Look around for the specific functionality you need.

3b) How do you install actions after you locate them?

Store the .atn file in a known place, then load it using the menu button in the actions palette. Do a Help search and you’ll get your answer much faster than posting to the group.
