Is there a way to verify what resolution a picture was saved in, in Photoshop?

When I click on file info, it gives me the resolution, but not the DPI that the picture was saved in.

Thanks!

From the menu bar at the top, Image > Image Size.

Huh? In this context, the two are the same.

PS usually opens a new image at a resolution of 72 ppi.
Ignore it. It is basically just a PS bookkeeping method. Your Resolution (if you want to call it that) is really the IMAGE SIZE, X pixels by Y pixels. That is what cameras and scanners deliver. PIXELS….. Not pixels/inch, not DPI, just plain old Pixels. Only when you display or print those pixels on a sheet at a certain size, does pixels/inch have any real significance as a measure of resolution.
