I have created a psd file that I need to import into Word or Powerpoint (or both, ideally). I have tried saving it as a jpg, eps, etc.. but nothing is working. How do I get this graphic imported into Word? It’s a menu that was created in Photoshop, but I need to get it into Word with the layout and images preserved.

Thank you!

What are you doing in Word and PPT? Save it a JPG and use insert>picture>from file.

I have a menu layout that I created in Photoshop. I need to put this menu layout into Word or Powerpoint. When I try what you suggested, insert picture from file, it does insert the file, but it is not the same size as I created it in PS.

I created a file of print size 8 1/2 x 11 in PS. When I put this same file into Word, it does not print out correctly. It is a lot smaller than 8 1/2 x 11. I’m not sure what to do at this point. My paper size in Word is 8 1/2 x 11, yet the menu is appearing small inside of it. Possibly a resolution problem? I’m not sure what to do. Thank you.

Word and PPT are not exactly high end graphic programs. Just resize the darn thing in Word and be done with it.

The Word document and the page size are the same, but the document has most likely has margins set, so the image will be smaller to fit inside of these margins. When you set all the margins to zero Word will "complain" and offer a "fix" or "ignore" option. Choose ignore. Now resize the image. When you try to print Word will "complain" again that your document is outside the margin range, so you have to ignore that also, but if your printer doesn’t support borderless printing you probably have another problem.

When i had this problem, i changed the jpg to a bmp file and could resize the thing at will. Go figure. Seems Word likes to use the only thing they give a free editor on…. BMP files. Like created with PhotoEdit or whatever that freebie program MS gives out…
