CS slow when reading PGE plug-in, work around

As you know CS takes a very long time to initialize if you have AutoFx PGE (Photographic Edges) due to the huge amount of content in the plug-ins folder.
I did some experimenting and managed to come up with a work around: the trick is to rename the folder to ~PGE prior to starting Photoshop and renaming it again (to PGE) when Photoshop is launched (or when you plan to use the filter). If you have Visual Basic or some other programming environment this is really no big hassle; just a click of a button.

You could even automate the whole process: 1) rename the folder 2) launch Photoshop and start a timer 3) after a minute or two let the timer-event rename the folder
Works like heaven 🙂
