Maybe I need to free up my own memory (the foggy stuff in my head) but I thought there used to be a way for Photoshop to free up memory after closing files. I just worked with some large files and closed them but haven’t closed PS. The task manager is still reporting half a gig of RAM used by PS and another half a gig of VM. Is closing and reopening PS the only way to free this memory?
