I am trying to use Photoshop to resize a large number of images.
The problem I am running it to is the 32 Character limit. When I run the Batch with file names greater then 32 Characters (at least I assume that it is 32 characters for pre OSX on Mac’s Compatibility). I am running Photoshop 6 on Windows 2000 and I believe it supports 256 characters as well as OSX.
Is there a way to remove this restriction on OS’s that support more characters? I have a family website and I use long filenames to describe the image.
For example: Jack_and_Granny_in_the_Bahamas_on_the_beach_001.jpg I then grep out the "_" and the numbers then display the description with the image in a PHP viewer I wrote.
I greatly appreciate any help that can be offered!
