Hello Everyone in the Photoshop Graphics Group,
I am looking for some beta testers for a free image viewer we are developing and would really appreciate any feedback we could get from a group of users such as yourselves. I have posted to this group before when I announced earlier versions of the Visere viewer (remember the issue with the indexer? Do we start from 0 or from 1! 🙂 ) and because I did receive very good responses from you, here I am posting it again! 🙂 — please don’t take this as SPAM! 🙁
If you are interested in beta testing Visere please download the beta version of Visere 2.0.1 from:
http://www.dmmd.net
For your information, here are some of the neat features of this viewer:
– free for personal use!
– extremely fast!
– DOCKABLE thumbnails, favorites, navigation, and basic editing toolbars! – support for multiple file types including: JPG, JP2, PNG, PGM, HDF, GIF, TIF, etc…
– batch renaming and converting between all the different file types – batch printing
– autoplay that can be controlled between 0ms and 5min
– use of favorite directories and favorite VSR index files (for creating photo albums)
– creation of animated GIF files from VSR index files
– multiple viewing options including full screen
– full keyboard mapping
– basic editing commands
and for the more technical users in the crowd:
– pure API programming! No, MFC or other libraries! This makes the code is really fast and small!
– use of the Graphics Magick (www.graphicsmagick.org) freeware image libraries.
Eventually we will have over 80 file types + we will lend our hand to the development of GraphicsMagik.
In the past I really appreciated your feedback! I look forward to more of your feedback as we
are working towards building Visere into a mature product!
Sincerely yours,
Darian Muresan
