layer select CS2

Can anyone tell me how to select the contents of a layer in CS2 ?

I used to hold CTRL and click the layer and the marquee would appear around the layer content – but this won’t work anymore -whats the trick ?

help file useless of course and i cant find the answer here either!

Command/Control click the layer icon.
Command/control clicking the rest of the layer is used for selection…

if PC its just ctrl / click the icon – thanks

I think you have to CTRL + click on the icon in the layers window.
