I would like to make patterns from photo to put inside fonts For instance I would like to take flames and put them insideof a font. I am using PS 6

try something simple first..
open a new window.. make it small .. (10 X 10) ..
create a little design..
when done.. choose edit / define patern .. name it and "ok"..

and that’s it.. you created your first pater YAY.

to use it… on an other file.. in a selection or whatever..

simply choose edit / fill
contents : use patern
patern : (choose the one you did)..

and that’s it..

now that you know how it works.. you can make it look nicer.
