I understand for the most part square pixels vs. DV NTSC pixels. The little thing that made me ask this question was I just upgraded to CS and made a new project with the NTSC DV 720 x 480 preset with guides. I had some old digitized footage that was broken down into a .tga sequence and I thought I’d drop one of the frames into this project to see how it sized up so to say with this preset. The confusing part was the frame was larger than my project mostly wider but if memory serves me correctly it was just a little bit taller also. I tried turning on and off pixel aspect correction with the same results. I was just curious if this may have been the way the footage was digitized or am I just doing somehting totally wrong here? Comments welcome…..
