I’d like to do sth. like this this guy: <http://nfg.2y.net/games/ntsc/visual.shtm>, splitting the image into the Red, Blue and Green Images it is composed of. How do i do this?

Your image is already split up in RGB. Take a look at the Channels palette. In preferences, you can specify that you want to see the channels in color instead of gray.

If you want these color channels as layers, simply copy/paste them into the layer palette.

Thanks, that did the trick! I had that figured out already with the channels but was wondering why a single channel is always grey!
